Door rattles

I need some help figuring this out... I have two 6" JBL speakers in the front of my 97' 4runner SR5 but the passenger door rattles when the bass hits but the driver door doesnt... what could be causing this???

Mine rattles as well, and it drives me nuts. What rubber lining are you referring to? I also wondered if it was my speakers since I put in new tweeters some time back...

Is it the interior door panel or something actually inside the door?

While playing something that causes the rattle, try pressing on the door panel to see if it stops. Perhaps one of the plastic posts broke? (I know I broke one of mine when I put in new speakers.) Or is it the speaker itself rattling?

Either way, you probably need to pull the door apart to fix it.
