Door Sill Protectors for '03 4runner

Has anyone seen them? I saw a teenie tiny pic of them.
They look kinda cool. Any have them or have pics of them?

I tried to order these from 2 different online stores but both of them said that they are on back order and waiting for shipments from Toyota. Any one here got these installed yet?
 
I just ordered a set from my parts department yesterday. They should be in tomorrow or Monday. Once I get them installed, I'll post a picture.

Sweet! I noticed on my 4Runner that I have taupe door still protectors do the ones toyota offer replace those?
 
I have been wondering if these were available. I would love to get some in stainless steel. I can't wait to see the pics. If you don't mind take one of all the pieces before you install....
 
I just talked with our parts rep from Toyota and the sill protectors won't be available until the 2nd or 3rd week of January. I'll keep you guys posted if anything changes.

They would be cool if they had the real 4Runner font like they have in the illustrations, but they are using some other font that looks like crap. I would almost like 'em better if they had nothing on them and offered all four door sills.:arrow:

Nah, It's the factory color. I guess technically it's greay, I just call it black. In fact, I'm taking that note off my sig since it's not even a mod. Don't know why it was there.
 
Speaking of painting the cladding, not that you painted yours, I saw a 4Runner the other day that had obviously had their cladding painted and it was aterrible match......it was very noticable.
 
I would assume it was for all four since it says front and rear. You might want to call and find out for sure.

I was going to call them today, but a client needed something last minute and my wife has some stomach bug, so I have had my hands full. I will call them in the morning and let ya'll know what I find out.

After reading the thread I picked up a set...hopefully they'll be here in a couple weeks (UPS ground....gah) and I'll be sure to post as soon as they do!!
 
Holding out for light up sill mod...

Over Christmas, I had the pleasure of driving my parents' new Lexus RX330. I noticed the door sill protectors light up when you open the door at night. Looks pretty cool in my humble opinion.

I challenge someone to mod their new door sills to light up the same way. Certainly would be something unique for your 4Runner.
