Dorado Gold color

First of all I am a new member I love this forum. I have a V8 Dorado Gold SR5 2005, it is bad to the bone. 2006 models do not have Dorado Gold why?

I have a 2006 SR5 in "Driftwood Pearl". It is sort of a gold color. I guess it replaced the Dorado Gold.

I'm Dorado Gold also. I'm guessing they're dropping the color because it's not a big seller. In fact, if you go to Edmunds and price out a used 4 Runner in Dorado Gold they decrease the price because of the color.

I bought mine because my wife liked the color better than silver. Though I've come to enjoy the fact that it hides dirt and dust really well, I hate that for the same reason, it never looks great when it's clean either.

Dorado gold was replaced by Driftwood Pearl. That was one of the hardest colors to get in my area. I thought it was a nice looking color.

Spyne i am sorry Dorado Gold is hot down here in south florida. I thank it is one of the best colors. When I wash and wax it using Megairs Nxt it is Hotttttttttttttt...

It looks great when it's clean and waxed, but it just doesn't seem to pop the way some of the darker colors do.

All of the cars I've owned recently (last 15 years) have either been white or very dark colors. White looks sweet when it's really kept clean as do the dark colors. This is the first gold vehicle I've ever owned and it just doesn't seem to have the same look the others did when they were really clean.
