These guys got a bit too rowdy at the track.
Dang! Was your group able to winch them back onto the wheels and out of the mud? And was the truck able to continue on?

Yes, he was winched back on all 4. The truck almost made it home before the engine gave out. Sucked in some water, unfortunately.

To wrap up 2017 Brooke and I went up to one of our favorite nearby camp spots in Blue Ridge. With all the crazy holiday and work stuff going on it was nice to fit one more night of camping in. It got down to the mid 20's. We stayed warm but I will be adjusting our cold weather kit for next time.
Great sunrise on our way up to Cataloochee to snowboard.

That's a wrap for 2017. Looking forward to 2018 adventures. Next mod up is a cargo drawer system!

I might of missed it but what bar setup were you running with the roof top tent before the gobi rack?

I was running the Yakima Railgrab kit. It has been discontinued and replaced by either using the Yakima Flusbar tower or the Timberline tower. Either one would work great if you wanted to mount your RTT to your 4Runner. For the price of the Yakima bars new, I would buy a Prinsu rack. Their shortest rack would be about the same price and give you more options to mount other items like an Awning.
PS - If you go Yakima, search eBay. You can find a decent deal. Or search the internet for dead stock on the Railgrab kit. I think mine was ~$185 shipped new from Campsaver.com?

Another snowboarding trip to NC for my birthday.
I tried skiing and did really well. I’ve snowboarded for so many years it was fun going through the process of a new challenge.
To wrap up my birthday weekend my friends made me a cake. I was really impressed.

Nice build and happy belated birthday! Those are some aggressive offset on the F5s. Did you have to get a BMC to fit them?

Thanks! I'm really happy with the F5's fitment. I do have a BMC and a good bit of front bumper trimming along with moving the fender liner.

I think he was running spacers with the NV's, see the post about him doing the BMC to prepare for NV's withs spacers... NV's are only a 0mm offset. stock trail wheel is +12 IIRC.
