double din cd/mp3/nav on a budget

hey guys

I been searching, reading, searching a lot
decided to get a double din cd/mp3/nav screen for my truck.

however, on a tight budget - so can't go buy the $2000
OEM screen

I saw that some people have installed the kenwood double
din nav system with good sucess for around $1300??

I want to spend around $1000 - any and all suggestions
for a system in this price range would be much apperciated.

I don't know how you could possibly do it for $1000 unless you find a great deal on ebay or something....

Or you could always buy a stand-alone navigation system like the Streetpilot and add MP3 to your existing stereo.

I guess thats my question

I did some searchs and I got the impression
that I could pick up a used kenwood DDX 7015 + nav
for around 800-900?

i've looked on ebay for the last few days and no luck.
thats why i decided to post and see what people thought
what kind of deals they have gotten and if anyone
recommends any other setups for around this price range.
