Double WHAMMY!! Back window/OD maybe?

Well its been awhile since i've logged on here and everything was going good for awhile with the 4runner. Finally hit 200k several weeks back and then it seemed as if the truck knew it was time to start pissing me off. Changed the water pump and timing belt my self with the help of Haynes/Chilton and Budweiser (saved like $850/gained a couple bruised and scratched knuckles, oh and my buddy showed me a cool trick on how to get the main crankshaft pulley bolt off....using the starter.). After that....weeks later..... my truck has trouble going into what i can only describe as OverDrive on the interstate. It wants to stay in the higher gear and at about 70mph its pushing 4000rpms. Well, after about 20 mins or so of annoying gas guzzling driving, it shifts into the "overdrive" mode (but my overdrive/off light never comes on.) Im taking it to Aamco trans soon cause that who did my tranny about 2 yrs ago and it should be under warranty. Any ideas what might be causing that?

Problem 2: Notorious back window failure. Just stopped working at front switch and key switch. No sparatic failure or sluggish up/down movement, just quit. Would that most likely be a relay issue or motor? I can fix it if i can diagnose the problem, but my biggest concern is how to get to wither part if the window is stuck all the way up. Are the panels easy to remove? How long of a job are we talking here? Any insight to these problems would be a great help. Thanks in advance.
