I had a lotta close calls (from old granny's/grandpa's, peeps on cellphones, teenagers, drunk peeps, etc.). When i have a gut feeling or simply an instinct that they might hit me, i honk my horn for precaution. Some of 'em give me the finger but i'd rather get a finger than a big dent.

I think i have frozen calipers bc it seems to be a common problem on these stock rigs...and my brakes suck NUTSS! My mom has a 4runner just like mine same year everything. And hers arent as bad but they suck too.
