With my badluck another douchebag pulled out in front of me and i had to hit a curb at 50 mph to avoid me hitting him. Only visible damage was my tire bubbled from the impact. :bash: Im so pissed off right now its ridiculous.

Same thing happened to me Friday coming home from work. He didnt even come to a complete stop, just kind of paused and kept driving. I had to slam on the brakes to keep from rear ending him.

Thats why I hate driving anymore, just too many damn idiots on the road.

People just need to slow the heck down and pay attention.

Not even slow down, just pay attention. I mean i have bright a$$ HID's and there is no way he could not of seen me! If i didnt hit that curb, I would have made contact with him at 60 mph. I would of been one pissed mother eff.

Thank god you were quick enough to swerve out of the way in time.

There are a lot of stupid drivers in the world. I think the best thing you can do is try to understand the different bits of "stupid". I've tried to draw it out below.

Drivers
Lets face it. Lurking in the vast lands of concrete and tar, the inconceivable aggregate of pavement, the network of roads that surround our towns and cities, are drivers. And for the most part, all of the drivers that we share a few honks with, a few words with, and maybe a few punches with, fall into one of these five categories. First comes the teenage driver. You can probably identify them at stoplights, when their car shoots ahead of all the others, accelerating as fast as possible. It is also stereotypical of the teenage driver to ramp up the bass of their music until everyone around is vibrating. At the other end of the spectrum we have the old lady behind the wheel. She usually is short and has to stretch to see over the steering wheel. Elderly drivers will also average about 30mph below the posted limit. Then there is the oblivious driver who never signals and crosses five lanes of traffic at once to take an exit 200ft away, causing about ten accidents in the process. Next we have the mom who is driving like a bat out of hell trying to get her kids to school on time. And finally, there is the driver who is terrified of everything. You know the type – when there is a curve they slow way down, they look terrified and have a death grip on the steering wheel, you know, an emergency kit in the back seat, and every little thing makes them slam on the breaks. But as much as you hate to admit it, everyone makes a stupid move while driving once in a while. Some just make them more often than others.

exactly the reason why i dont have a large bore dual sport cycle i want so badly

i had woman do me just like you guys speak of the other day. no wonder at last count there was 13 crosses beside the highway and its only 21 miles from town to town

rural america has even worse drivers than city , thats what i truly think , plus large slow moving farm machines and logging equipment either moving along slowly or sitting still broken down in the dark in your lane with zero lights

or and the ever exciting deer thirty . on some talk show the other day they said 2 million crashes per year with deer like animals , moose elk antelope cows

i had a tom turkey remove antenna on my 93 toyota 4x4 at 65 mph , could have been my windshield just as easily too

makes me want a unimog doka hahaha

Yep..Lots of deer here in eastern PA to hit, some areas of NJ are even worse.
Its so bad that there are some areas I refuse to drive through at night, other areas are posted at 40-50 mph but I wont drive more than 20-25 at night because there are so many deer.

"Not even slow down, just pay attention"

Nah, they really need to do both. At 43 years of age, Ive come to realize that for the most part (freeways are the exception), there is a reason speed limits are what they are. I live on a rural road with a posted speed limit of 25 mph. Just a few minutes ago as i was driving home some idiot flew by me doing 45-50 mph. This is a road that has a fair amount of kids out riding bikes, people walking dogs etc.

I mean if i could I seriously would have the joy of beating anyone who does something stupid in a car with a bat. Biggest peeve. I mean be patient and observe. Im the type of drive that can observe everything fast and knows what is going on, but if you arent like that slow down and look. I would have hit him, but i would have cried after seeing the damage on my 4runner. I could careless what that sh*thead had done to him, he fully deserved it. I only let one st of people go when they piss me off. That is the old people. Other then that screw you!

Well I guess its inevitable that people will not be paying attention when they drive and pull some lain brain move on you but thank God he was there to watch out for you. I should be dead so many times from near misses and yet here I am still walking around and driving the best SUV on the market. Just be thankful and let the anger issues go, you can bet the guy who pulled out in front one you has not had a second thaought about it. So not only did he nearly cause a accident, he is know continuing to upset you and stealing your joy, you just gotta let that go. Its not worth it and maybe even say a prayer for him because next time he may do the same thing when its a car full of small children and a mom who does not have your reaction time. Anyway glad to hear you ok and God Bless!

There are some REAL maniacs out there that are out of control.

On my way to work on Friday I had no choice but to call the cops on this one moron in a new Hyundai w/dealer plates on it. We were on the highway with a little bit of traffic, and he was trying to get around everybody, brake checking people and them trying to pass in the break down lanes. He slammed his brakes twice to force me to be right on top of him and then he did it again, I guess brake checking me (that or he wants to wreck his new Hyundai...). I lost my mind at this point, passed him and was a good distance away from him but he got near me again and got so close to the truck (of course I brake checked him back) I couldn't see him in the mirrors.

He eventually passed and got off my exit and went off a different way.

Moron definitely was/is going to kill someone by driving like that so I reported him. Takes a lot for me to do that (I never have before), but that was one of the worst cases of road rage I've ever seen, and I used to live in NYC, lmao! Thank goodness I was not in the Cobra, I don't drive it aggressively at all, I leave all that for the Runner.

Having a raise I do find myself driving slower especially around corners. this is my first truck I got a few days ago as I am used to 2 seaters low and wide to the ground.. I have been fearing lately that someone would pull out in front of me while I am driving speed limit and have to swerve and hope nothing happens.. also I live on a road that is posted 30 mph.. no joke.. cars fly by doing 70 all day.. even cops.. and my kid and others walk to school. this is the worse road I have lived on. and if I slow down to turn into my own drive way or I am pulling out.. they honk and give me the finger.. lol.. I fallowed one person up the street and walked up to their truck only to realize it was a woman with 3 little children in her truck.. I had my son with me and It only served her right for me to set her straight in front of her own kids.. soccer moms flippin the bird.. ha ha ha

I lost my first 4runner to some lady not paying attention. I was driving down the road in the left lane going about 25 mph, when some woman in a minivan just pulls out of a side street. I had no reaction time and just slammed right into the side of her car. Luckily noone was hurt, but her van was smashed in the side pretty bad. My 87 was a messed up, but I was able to drive it home. Unfortunately it was later totaled. I would still have it to this day if it wasn't for that minivan.

Same thing here in NC. But seems to be more jackasses on motorcylces. Had one to pull out in front of me when I was going 50 and had to slam on the brakes. It is not smart for you to be on a bike and pull out in front of anybody especially when your bumper is at the top of their back. Then one jackass was sitting at a stop light when it turned green and just sat there talking to their pasenger. So I blew the horn and they slowly creeped off going 30mph in a 55 zone. Then as I was going to pass the fukker sped up only to slow down when cars were coming. I could have just ran the fukker over so easily and not even rethunk it.
