Doug Thorley Header Update (for 470 V8 owners)

Approximately 3 weeks ago, the management at Doug Thorley Headers decided to look into building headers for the 4th generation 4Runner with the 470 V8. While reviewing the details (variances and clearances) of what it would take to make the headers, it was discovered that each model year is a little bit different whether it be the engine itself or the clearances with the other components in the engine bay, etc.. In other words, one set of headers was not going to fit all models and all years.

Management came to the conclusion that it would not be profitable to make so many different types of headers to fit all the different nuances of the 4Runner with the 470 V8 and scraped the idea. To make a long story short, Doug Thorley will not be making headers for the 4th generation 4Runner (this includes years 2003-2010).

Sorry folks, we gave it a nice try. Those who did put their name on the list with a CC# will not be charged and the CC# destroyed.

Update to v8 headers

Doug Thorley makes the V8 headers now. Contact them directly for options: short pipes, long pipes, Y-pipe.
