(a reminder. The factory headers are very restrictive on these trucks. These suckers give a HUGE hp gain and gas mileage bump. Transforms the truck. Toyota's manifold design isn't the best and these open everything up. It's taking your finger off the bottom of the straw.

Do you have an actual picture of the 3.4L headers? The one on your website is for a V8 with EGR system. I put some DT headers on my old 2001 Tacoma and they did make good power. I might be interested in putting some on my 98 T4R. I'm curious about the y-pipe...what's the new design?

y pipe is 2.5". Doug thorley doesn't have any pics of Y, I just called my guy.

Honestly I'm not sure. What I do know is they have a LIFETIME WARRANTY forever. Which is cool. I think he told me out of the 50 years they've been selling these, only a few ever failed, and that's unreal. I guess they know their design and quality is awesome to be able to offer that.

Curious why it says these won't work/require modifications if you're running a body lift? I have a body lift and am just curious for future reference.

I think the same reason why they say it won't work on the 4th gen with body lift. The head of the steering column bolt would hit them, but you can just put a slim head type bolt in as a trick like this guy did:

Good to know they are doing these in stainless. I ordered a set when they first came out. The flanges, (not straight, rust in areas), the pipes, (rust), and the ceramic coat, (missing on certain areas, did not do through and through inside out), were all problem areas. Hopefully they addressed these things. Returned my set for a full refund.

I would find out if these are full 304 stainless like they used to do for the TRD headers. Meaning, flanges, pipes, collectors, all TIG welded. Skip any of the above and no thanks. Warranty doesn't matter when these are such a PITA to install.

I haven't had any problems or warranty issues to date. WHich I hope it stays that way. Have sold many of these and the 03-09 V8 ones. They do give a nice bump in mileage.
