Doug Thorley needs a 2005 4Runner in the shop

Just got off the phone with Doug Thorley Headers in Corona, CA and they have recently started bending headers for the 4.7L V8 Land Cruiser. Those might fit a 2005 4Runner but they need someone to bring a 2005 4Runner in to their shop so that they can determine the fit and configuration for headers and they will start to produce them if they can get the configuration correct. They make great headers and a set of tuned, stainless, ceramic covered headers is certainly a better addition to your 2005 4.7L 4Runner than another set of OEM's when your original manifolds crack. Doug Thorley Headers is located at 1220 W. Railroad St. in Corona or give them a ring at 951-739-5900. I would take mine in if I didn't live on the East coast.

I would be there in a minute if I lived near by. A header solution for the 4th gen V-8 would be nice.

Definitely hope they come through...I think I hear the ticking but Ive been trying to not let my ocd take over.

Is there something specific about the 2005 Gen-4 V8 ?

Wouldn't a set of headers that fit a 2005 V8 fit a 2008 V8 ? I would think so unless there was a change in the exhaust routing ...

Just curious; it would seem that he could have any number of V8 years in there to confirm fit.
