Just curious, what will the aftermarket skidplate do that the stock skidplate will not?

Larger, protect more area. Not bend.

Stock skid is thin and more for looks and easy off-roading. It's already has deeply bend and scratch all around. It's also 1/16 when Downey is 3/16. Downey is flatter, so it's better for skidding and it doesn't have this **** plastic piece at the end.

Ic. Well, if i decide to do some hard core off roading, I will consider it, or just wait until the stock ones get FUBARed.

Lance, I like the fact that it solid one piece. I'll probably drill a hole for easy oil change (I've V6 and filter is up on the engine).
I'm thinking of modifying it a little bit to cover the radiator.
I'll keep you inform on my progress. I just ordered it and it suppose to be here in 2-3 weeks.
