draining atf in 2004 4speed trans

I believe the manual calls for about 3.2 quarts. I would have 5 quarts available, just in case. Just make sure you don't over fill it when replacing the fluid. It is better to start on the short side and add as needed, than have to drain off the excess if too full.

The best way to do this is to measure what you drain and you'll know exactly how much to refill.
