Building a platform for the fridge to sit on and want a drawer system underneath it. Is there a specific brand of drawer slide I should be looking for or just whatever the local hardware store has with a high weight rating?

Tortuga off-road had some 220 pound ones that looked nice

2” slides seem to max out at around 2xx, 3” slides go to nearly 500#. If you’re using for drawers, even 200# is likely overkill, unless you plan to incorporate a pull out table.

Yeah I was looking to do a small pullout table and then have it fold open twice. Just a small Coleman stove so nothing major but want to make sure it’s supported.

food for thought

I am now building my second set of drawers and with a different set of slides so I'll offer up a couple of things to keep in mind...

1. You CAN put 36in locking slides in a 3rd row 5th Gen. Currently building using these

2. If using non-locking slides, make sure you have a REALY good way of locking them closed. Something like this
3. If using non-locking slides, keep in mind if you are parked on an angle they tend to "self move" :jump:
4. If you have a 3rd row you can use the turnbuckle to floor flip latch as a way to secure them or you can make a mounting plate that attaches to what those anchors or attached to too. I am currently doing this as it gives you more room.
