10,000 miles UPDATE:

If you were wondering how these cheap pacesetters were doing with 3 cheap rockauto o2 sensors and 1 oem sensor.

No more sulfur smell. have not had a CEL for the last 10,000 miles. fuel economy is averaging 14.85mpg, factor in 33" tires, skid plates, whitson metalworks roof rack, 10k warn winch with hidden winch plate, front 2" hitch reciever, and custom cargo box...its pretty darn good.

I did all the mods after 1000 miles since the cat fix.

Same here on my son's 05 ! Only problem has been with the pacesetter on driver's side cracked at the weld where pipe & plate come down . not sure if this is because of urd y-pipe & it's lack of flex causing that to stress there . Overall very happy & all a/f & O2 replaced by yours truly !!!

Same here - my CEL's been gone for more than 3 years now using the anti-fouler trick!

Unfortunately I just starting hearing ticking from the Pacesetter on the passenger side. I'm afraid to go look where it's cracked.

Three years, wow! Sucks about the ticking sound though.

These engines have a lot of ticking so make sure you narrow it down not always manifold !

clicking from the driver's side manifold area is normal correct?

Yes pvc valve ! Easy & cheap to replace but will still have some ticking ! Listen to a 5th sounds like a diesel

If it's a PVC valve, you should be able to remove it, clean it with brake cleaner/gasoline/etc -and then reinstall it, I'd think. They simply get a little gunked up with oil vapor over time.
