where can i get a good REAR driveshaft for a 6cyl 4runner limited 1996? i had mine balanced and they told me my slip shaft is worn out and thats why i'm getting vibration. They also told me $800 for a replacement "if" they can find it? anyone?

Any salvage yard. You should be able to call any salvage yard and they can look up if they have one.

Yeah, but the computer inventories are typically woefully out of date at alot of yards. I think the best way to check is to call them and even if they look it up in their computer, I think they have a more up to date inventory in their on-site computer than they have in the online inventories. A couple of the yards I called dismissed their online listed inventory, but were able to tell me if they had the parts I needed.

On a quick google search I found these in 5 minutes. Searches are for 97 V6 AT 4X4 but I am sure you can navigate to find your specific vehicle.
