Drive throuh Tree PICS

This summer I took my family on a week long road trip up the california coast from L.A. to the redwood forest. During the trip we went through this drive through tree. Took some pics and just thought the T4R community might find interesting. Enjoy

How long did it take you to go through the tree?

It was a very tight squeeze. I don't think it really took that long to get through, I guess I was confident with myself. I did have to fold the side mirrors. I saw this one guy that was a scared little b#@%. A line formed behind him and other drivers were becoming impatient with him. I just laughed, and to top it off it was a jeep.

Sequoia National Park July '06. I'd owned the car 3 weeks...I HAD to drive it through a tree!

Will a Toyota Sequoia fit through or under a Sequoia such as these?

I'm pretty sure it would fight. It would be tight, but i think it would fit. You just have to trust yourself enough. I had more then enough room. maybe not to sure about the new sequoias those things are beasts, but the 1st gen yes. By the way, if you were planning on going to the redwoods there is also another drive through tree up there. I didn't get a chance to check it out though. here's a link.

this tree is actually living. the tree I drove through was dead, and of course the tree mabuse drove through was dead.

You should check it out, it's on the road to Crescent Meadow. Along the same road there is also the Auto Bridge Log (a fallen log that cars can be driven accross like a bridge) but they no longer let cars drive on it.
