Hi,
I am new to the forum, so please bear with me. I had a shade tree mechanic replace U-Joints about 2 years ago. Since then I've had a vibration at about 70 MPH. I have heard that you should replace the driveshaft as an assembly and not press out and replace the U-Joints. I have also heard that if you don't re-install the yolk exactly as it was before, even one spline off can give you vibration. I am thinking this is what happened. Is there a way to get it back in balance not knowing exactly how it was installed before? Or do my ideas not make any sense at all? Thanks for any suggestions!
