Driver side clunk after LBJ OTRE replacement

I have been searching all morning and can't seem to find an answer. I installed the lbjs and outer tie rods last night. I was driving it to firestone for alignment this morning and heard a clunk noise when turning right. Not when turning left. I had the new steering rack put in with the lift about 3 months ago maybe. It is at firestone now but I can't help but think I messed something up. So I thought I would throw it out there and see if anyone else had this problem. Maybe some things to check when I get it back. Any ideas?

I hope the stealership does not break anything in the process of my lower ball joint recall appointment but my story is as follows: I finally, got time to go to the dealership for the recall. I book the appointment online and clicked on recall and entered the campaign number 50J. Appointment is confirmed and even got reminder phone call and email for my appointment but when I got there the service adviser said they did not have the fing part. Stealership did not even bother to check beforehand. I am the original owner and apparently they must have sold my recalled part for profit even when I got letters to have it replaced. Car only has 40K. I booked a month ago. Now I have to go after holiday.

Also, what does check toe 1.2 mean. Guy wrote for my schedule service with recall. Is that even correct "1.2" for 4runner. Does this have to do with alignment.

If Firestone is doing an alignment and there is something wrong with the LBJ install, etc. You will be getting a call shortly.

A company like Firestone will not complete an alignment on a vehicle that has potential problems including torn CVs at some locations. Could be your wheel/hub?

And yes, toe has something to do with alignment, how much toe in or out.

Yeah I'm really hoping it's something easy. Like maybe I bent that metal cover plate for the brakes or something. But it sounds like a metal clunking. Like something's hitting something.

Hard to tell, is the noise a clunk clunk clunk or a constant metal sound? Does the noise increase, get louder, etc with speed?

could be anything in the front end, lots of moving parts up there. does your 4x4 engage? is your wheel loose? did you break a CV? torn boot?

It's a constant clunk clunk. Like somethings hitting something when im turning. I don't think I broke anything on that side. Although I was using the hammer on that side before I decided to use the tie rod puller. But I was only beating on the bolt and the tie rod end. Its a real low pitched clunk. Not a high pitched ticking that is CV joint would make

There are numerous possibilities. We could guess correctly, and not know it, without inspecting your 4Runner.

Your best bet at this point is to have the guy that is performing the Alignment, take a close look at it.

Yeah. I'm gonna let them align it. They will probably hear it on the road test. Maybe they will know what it is

Was everything torqued to spec?

Yes everything was torqued to Spec. I got it back a little bit ago from firestone. And the noise is gone.... So still not sure what it was nit the alignment fixed it or they saw something and fixed it! Either way I'm not complaining. Hoping it doesn't come back! Thanks everyone for your help!
