Driver side door lock sticking

For some reason, my drivers side door lock sticks when I try to open it inside of the car. It will partial unlock but have to pull the handle again to get it to open.
I sprayed contact cleaner in the lock key hole and lithium grease on all the lock parts but nothing changed.

Any help or simular problems?

You will probably have to replace the cable inside the door. The plastic outer tubing on the cable breaks and causes this problem.

I know this post is old, but I am having the same problem with my 03. Did the cable replacement fix this? Were you able to install the cable yourself?

I have already tried lube. It acts up more when it is cold out side. Thanks!
