Driver's rear window motor

I am having a problem with my driver's side rear window. It goes down normally (a little slow) using both the master and rear door switch. It will not go up all the way using either switch. It will go up a little then stop. If I wait a few minutes and try again it goes up a little more. I can assist it and it goes up further but still stops. I do this until I get it shut. I took the door apart and nothing is apparently wrong. I checked connections and cleaned it up some. Still not functioning properly. I think that I have ruled out a switch issue since both work. Not sure if it is the motor or regulator. Any ideas?
