Driveshaft Lube Question

Well, found out in another post that I need to lube the driveshaft to eliminate the transmission thump.

Toyota calls for the following - Grease grade:

Spiders: Lithium base chassis grease NLGI No.2

Slide yoke and double cardan joint:
Molybdenum-disulphidelithium base chassis grease
NLGI No.2

How important is it to use the 2 different types of grease? Anyone recommend one one tpye of grease that can be used on the entire chassis? Thanks.

I have been using just the moly grease since day 1. Ten years and 125K later there are no problems. I have no justification for this other than laziness and not wanting a third gun in the garage. (My tractor gun has the lithium but it won't work on the 4Runner.) So do this at your own risk.
