Yesterday I had the pleasure of seeing the low pressure tire sensor appear starting the 4runner....Thought nothing of it due to it finally getting cold in my neck of the woods and drove 60-70 mph for 20 min to come back and see I was running on 10 psi and a flat....
Noticed a screw in the wheel, pumped the wheel back up to 34 psi to take it to the tire store and have the screw removed/tire patched.
They did not indicate that I needed a new tire, but seemed awfully rushed. How can I tell if there was any damage done re-inflating the tire with the screw in it/driving it at those speeds with such low psi? Not sure if I need to replace or roll with the patched tire now.
