DRL (Day Time Running Lights)

Hey everyone! I have a question about the DRL on the 06 T4R. Does anyone know what lights are on if you have the DRL option? I mean, is it the headlights, foglights, or what? Just wanted to know because I might chose that option when I order mine in a few weeks. It's only $40.00! What the hell! I wonder if they really make you safer or not. Anyone have any suggestions? Not sure, but I'd be curious to know myself. I think the orange ones on the 03 - 05 really make it stand out compared to other that just use low intensity headlights. I notice other 4th gen 4Runners coming from quite a distance in comparison to other vehicles. Just my opinion.

That said, I think anything that makes you more visible is a good thing, regardless of what type they are, and worth the money.

I agree, you also should get a reduction (small) in your auto insurance for them.
