Drop in or Full Intake?

I am going to pick up one of the two here in a few days but i am not sure whether i should pick up a full cold air intake system (probably K&N or AEM) for my 1999 4runner or just the trueflow (possibly K&N) drop in filter.

Anyone have some good advice?

Deck Plate Mod with drop in filter like K&N, true flow, Amsoil.

thats what i was thinking but i am not sure if i should get a trueflow or K&N filter everyone seems to like the trueflow on here.

I put a Tru Flow in a few months back and they are very good filters . I have tried the K&N route and would pick the TF over the K&N any day . IMO .

My opinion but I'm not sure if that deck mod is really worth it . I didnt see or feel any difference after doing it . In fact a month later I closed it up . Didnt care for the type of noise it produced .

I have my K&N for many years now. I switched around with OEM filter. True Flow is less expensive than K&N.
