Sorry guys been swamped at work and need to be getting there now. So. real quick, 85 Cadillac el dorado rear calipers and the mounts, rotors, I got from sky manufacturing. Now I had to space the mounts out as they did not fit may housing just right. I have all custom break lines in the rear. I also was very unhappy with the way my conversion was working and went farther. I swapped in a mastercylinder from a 76 Chevy blazer that has a 1-1/8th in bore to move more oil. Again all custom break lines to swap in the mastercylinder. Now another problem is that our rear axles have a small amount of end play, this is bad for disc breaks because as the axles moves in and out it pushes the pads away from the rotors. Why is this bad? Because now when you stomp on the breaks the fronts come up tight but the tears are just taking up the distance that they have been pushed away. I have some pictures in my build thread. Back to the ebreak you need to have custom cable system to pull the ebreak lever on the calipers. I have not yet got this part working yet. I know bikerjoshis try to get the ebrake part figured out also. So basic driving around town can get a bit harry at times, with my current setup. However off-road THEY ROCK!!!! I will add more later this evening though it might be late as I know I will be working late again today.
