dual batterys

hey guys iam be putting in a winch on my truck and was wondering how you guys ran your battery set ups i wanna snorkle mine so the passanger side will be open but iam losed after that oh its an 88 with a 22re and 5 speed i was also wondering wht the stock out put of the altenator is to upgrade mine and one other thing can some body give me a set of pics on how to wire a 4 wire aftermarket tach to the truck nobody around here knows

For the tach - what brand? what color wires are there?one is Ignition +, one is common ground, one goes to negative side of ignition coil and one is illumination.
 
no clue on the brand but the wire colors are red green white and black red and black i got simply but the other 2 iam lost and i have no clue on which side of the coil to put it on :smashputer:

Black = Ground
Red = Power
Green = Coil
White = Lights

Also i plan on running dual batteries to, i was going to have a battery on each wheel well in the back in a battery box.

Dual batteries need to be isolated from each other when the engine is off.
You can use one of the dual diode type, a switch, or a relay.
I use a relay on mine because I don't like the .7V drop the diodes have.

AN the stock alt is rated at 60A.
