Dual exhaust

Just had the dealer install the Borla dual exhaust-wow, what a nice rumble out of the exhaust! Sounds the way a v8 should! Its amazing, Toyota markets this exhaust in the southeast region only as a PIO, and nowheres else. Do they expect all the senior citizens in Florida to order this? I had my dealer get it from a Toyota dealer in Orlando. Came with the TRD airfilter- $670 plus shipping, which they paid for.
Now, if TRD would only get the SC back out! I also talked to them on thursday-they say their still working on them- 03s and 04s. No time frame yet, but they did confirm the issue was related to the ECU. Now if everyone would start calling, they might hurry it up-can't see how difficult reprogramming an ecu could be.:awais:

congrats on your new exhaust.i want some borla duals too. did you get them online and did you have to remove the spare tire? i was gonna get dual flowmasters but they told me i had to get rid of my spare, and i had to use it once already.

I had my dealer contact Orlando Toyota in Florida to get it, since it is available through toyota. Invoice is 670- check it out on Kelly blue book-www.kbb.com, and since I was ordering my limited, they agreed to get it at cost.$670 was higher than someone elses post, but it does include the TRD airfilter. They installed it in 45 mins. You remove the spare, but only for the install, then it goes right back in, so you do not lose the spare.
