I've been a little slow with eh work since our Zion/Moab trip, but I'm itching to keep the work up.

Coming soon:
CBI Sliders
CBI rear bumper with Tire carrier
ARB fridge
ARB compressor
Sport hood
rock lights
exhaust with side dump
K&N, or possibly snorkel? hmmmm
new stereo

For the stereo, I'm open to suggestions if anyone wants to pitch in.
I'm going with a double din display w/ bluetooth & DVD. I also want to keep my backup camera. Is this possible to do with aftermarket head units, or is there a good replacement?
I'll also be upgrading the door speakers, sub and amp.

Anyone ever done a front facing camera in the bumper, that streams to the head unit?

Edit: oh yeah, forgot about my favorite mod. Kenny Powers license plate. Adds 300 HP and infinite gumption

I went with this double DIN radio from Crutchfield. Came with the install kit. Easy to do to. I don't have a rearview camera, but you can hook one up to it.

I can help you install when you get one if you want.

I've never done a head unit replacement myself, how long would you say it takes to do?

I'll have to go look to see the model number. Including soldering the new wiring harness, it took me about two hours. It's actually really easy to do on the 4th Gen.

Had my head unit replaced with a pioneer avh-4200nex dual din. Was going to do the sub, amp and front door speakers, but the head unit made a huge improvement, so I'll probably hold off on the rest.

Also, spent Sunday swapping the hood out with an factory sport edition hood with the scoop. Picked one up at the junk yard for a reasonable price. Also gave it a full detail and was able to get most of my pinstripes out of the side.
Love the way it looks now.

3/24/18 - CBI bumper install day


Removed the stock rear bumper in just a few minutes. No surprises there.

Here's the CBI bumper on it's pallet

Had to go pick up my wheel/tire from the shop, so of course we used the official Outworld Tire hauler.

Had a bit of a tough time getting it to line up correctly, and it still a 1/4'' lower than I'd like, so we may go back and readjust, but overall im f'ing stoked!
I'll take some high quality pics of it later today, but I had to get some in the parking garage this morning.

Maybe that's it. It's about options without interference from a computer with some silly things like small mirrors and burger tray and hidden glove box....give us a truck that is tough and durable

Great build! Quick question. I'm about to mount TRD Pro wheels. Did u do a body mount chop to prevent rubbing with the 285s?

Thanks brotha! Feeling really good with the truck right now. Just have to button up a few small projects and I’ll be content for a while.

I also used this time to clean, sand, buff and paint my muffler, exhaust tip and tow mount. They were both looking a little rough and I thought about painting them black, but I decided to give gun metal a try and am very happy with how they turned out

Trucks looking FANTASTIC man. It's amazing what the right mods can do to it, that rear bumper being one of them.

I'm gonna take a shot at refinishing my hitch like you've done here, any advice/tips?
