Dull/Yellow Headlight Prevention

Just wondering what you all recomend for keeping your headlight lenses looking new. I see a lot of cars/trucks that have faded, dull or even yellow headlight covers. When this happens to a car/truck, I think it spoils the look of the whole car, no matter how shiney the paint is. How can I prevent my headlight lenses from getting this ugly disease? Is there a product made just for this purpose? Thanks in advance to any replys.

I just saw some plastic polish in the newest Griots Garage catalog. I was thinking about giving it a try. I picked up some Meguiar's "Clear Plastic Cleaner & Polish" from Auto Zone a while back and used it on my father's '80's (not sure which year) Ranger headlights and they came out crystal clear. Before they were all cloudy. My truck is about 1.5 years old but it had some little scratches, so I tried it on them and they turned out great. I couldn't find a bottle of the stuff, but I found these small packets hanging next to the headlight bulbs section. I am sure the griot's Stuff is probably the same.
