Dunlop tire cracks?

How many of you had cracks on there outer edge of there stock Dunflops before you got rid of them?? Mine are loaded with cracks and even though I only put them on for the summer to burn them out and I have a good 10K left on them im starting to wonder about the cracks?

Yeah, my dunlops did the same thing too... Does your cracks look like mine?

I replaced my tires at 29k miles, 2003 4Runner Sport Edition V8 4x4.

The hopefully soon to be Dungones on my'03 V6 SE have --- stange that it appears to be just the outter band. Have 25k miles on them - had hoped to go 30k before replacing BUT now have a 55-65 MPH vibration so assume they need balancing. Hate to put $50 into balancing them only to find perhaps an internal belt slipped. Torm between the chepaer BFG Long Trail or the new Michelin AT/2s when COSTCO next has a $60 off 4 sale.

....I'm at 45K miles and the cracking looks pretty bad...looking to replace them before winter but I've never seen any previous sets of tires on my cars or trucks do that before.....

I had the same thing. Hundreds of cracks that just popped up after 33K. I just replced them with Michelins Cross Terrains. Seems everyone likes them
