duratrac vs. walmart authority

Has anyone looked at the GY wrangler authority a/t compared to the GY wrangler duratrack? I was looking for new tires and stumbled upon them at walmart..

I personally think that the Duratrac looks better.

If money isn't an issue I'd go with the Duratracs.

it just looks like a walmart exclusive, but the exact same thing.

personal opinion, go look at them in person, feel the compound, go check out a set of duratracs. then price match the two and see how much you can get each set for. i'm just not one for walmarts customer service. Americas tire co takes really good care of me, even sends me emails when its time to get my tires rotated.

size choices are also pretty poor compared to the duratrac as well

940 duratrac ( tires plus and a local tire chain)

I got Discount to match their on-line price for the Duratracs which were at $161 each when I got them and mounted and balanced out the door was around $780 out the door.
I prefer to deal with an actual tire place instead of big box store when it comes to rotations,rebalances if needed,warranty replacements for the life of the tires plus I don't support Wal-mart as a company.

i've taken a look at the walmart exclusive GY Authority tires myself when they first came out. for off-road applications, the side wall is awfully soft, that's all i can say.

i would say go with the duratracs for many reasons. you get what you pay for
