E brake and battery light on at same time I think it means something?????

Can anybody tell me what this means I remember it means something just not what. I have a 1994 runner I have looked in the book and can't find any info concerning these two light being on at the same time. (E -brake and Battery light) Thank You

It means you have an alt problem, usually the brushes are bad.

if the alternator isnt the problem there may be a short on the back of you gauge cluster that is causing the ither the brake light to jump to the battery or vise versa.

definently the alternator, same thing happened to me and i took it somewhere and they said toyota's use the a/t oil temp battery and brake warning lights as a warning. swapped it out and they went away.
