E brake and battery light on at same time I think it means something?????

Can anybody tell me what this means I remember it means something just not what. I have a 1994 runner I have looked in the book and can't find any info concerning these two light being on at the same time. (E -brake and Battery light) Thank You

It usually means your altenator is dead. I had a problem like that years ago (i hope I am remembering this right) where my altenator tested out fine and it was actually a tail light/brake light issue.
