E-brake light stays on when E-brake disengaged

The red e-brake light stays on when disengaged. I'm going to take a look at it right now, and was hoping for any useful hints or suggestions.

I have electrical contact cleaner and lithium grease, and I'm going hunting...

Hey thanks!

The reservoir was full, so I unplugged the electrical connection, sprayed some electrical cleaner on both the male and female sides and that fixed the problem.

I had just used engine shampoo, so some water must have entered the connector.

First, check the brake fluid level and top off if necessary.
Next, there is a connector on the side of the brake master cylinder.

Good Tip, mine came on after loosing a little fluid while removing the pads and compressing caliper pistons. Hope this gets it!
