E Locker....96 to a 98?

Will the 96 fit on the 98? Manual (96) to auto (98). Not that familiar with the E Locker system. Both trucks stock.

They will fit but you will have to change the front diff to match your gear ratios.

The elocker is the same from 96-2000. If you actually find an elocker from a manual trans 4runner I believe they are 4.10 gear ratio. The autos are supposed to have 4.30. If you 98 has the common 4.10 ratio you will not have to regear if the manual elocker does have the 4.10 gears.
