E-locker retrofit: All parts needed?

4x4 computer doesn't care.

Ended up being a bust anyway, the one that just arrived was a 2wd, no elocker. Also didn't even have rear heat so I wasn't able to grab the console for the cupholders :/ I think I'm giving up on finding an elocker from a yard, at least in Colorado it seems like they get picked the morning they get in and I can't always drop everything I'm doing when I see a 4runner pop up at the local yard. I'm either going to just pony the grand that everyone wants for these things or more likely just get an ARB and pay the crazy prices that places want for install since I know they are really easy to mess up the install and end up with an air leak.

My honest opinion, after doing the Retrofit, is don't bother.

Just get the Eaton E-locker and be done. Its 1200 bucks, no compressor, just a wire harness install, and a rebuild of your existing 3rd member. I can build and ship one to you for about the same price you'll pay to find a decent on in the junkyard, clean up the housing, install new seals, etc to make it work.

They have gone up again! They were like 1100 dollars a few years ago.

I haven't looked in a while.

Still - All in - including all my time to drive just to source the used axle 200 miles away, fuel, strip and paint the diff, etc. Easily 2k to do the Factory Elocker conversion.
