e-locker retrofit in Denver

Does anyone know of a shop that can source and install elocker? I know Toy industries used to do it but it seems they have closed their business temporarily.

Maybe AddictedOffroad in Fort Collins could do it. There is a shop in Denver called Toy Doctor I believe. In really don't know since I do all my own work.
 
The only person I would know to reference you to is Kirk but he closed his shop down.

There is Jesse who runs a shop called ALTR but they are pretty damn expensive.

Agree with this. Give Scott a call at AOR or message him here on the forum and ask.
 
Honestly if you are going to pay a shop to source AND install an elocker for you I would just spend the money and do an ARB air locker and call it a day. By the time you paid a shop to do all the extra stuff the elocker requires you would be at a wash for the ARB.... just a thought.

But again i still find an elocker superior. ARB's have a lot more maintenance and stuff that can fail. Air compressor, air lines and so forth. I know people that have lockers that dont activate on the trails because of these issues.
 
yeah I would just head to 4 wheel parts or High Country 4x4 and have them throw a locker in.


Think that's your best bet.
 
I'm down to help, if you want to do it yourself. It's certainly not a difficult job from my research.

I am in the same boat. My wife supports my passion for wheeling but doesn't understand why I need to spend time in garage wrenching when I can spend the same time with her and our 16 month old son. Moreover, I live in a commu ity that has HOA so I am limited in what all repairs I can do in my garage.

We're in a little different circumstance from each other. I think my wife would be cool with me in the garage however long if I had my kid with me and could guarantee her safety. My issue right now is our kid is 10 months old and I help out (This isn't by force, I want to be there with my daughter). We split time between her a decent amount in the house (When I'm not working) so she grows a good attachment to both of us, and so far it has worked & I truly do enjoy all the time I spend with her. Case in point, wife is at a friends house for an invite right now and the 10 month old has stayed with me the last 3 hours just fine. I know a lot of people who can't say the same as daddies, at least a few of my friends.

We'll see what happens when she is walking and can hang out in garage with me when the weather is OK.

I knew the HOA is an organization of human devils, but I thought the extent of their evil was limited. They can regulate what you do IN YOUR garage? Jesus, where do you live in Denver if you don't mind me asking?

HOA can't regulate what I do in my garage. I am just worried that my neighbors may not appreciate me doing repair work Iin my garage. Truck on jacks will wheels off is not a pretty site for everyone.

oh ok. you're a damn nice neighbor.

I'm one of the younger folk among my retired neighbors, but I have a neighbor with a big ass diesel truck and he's always wrenching on that thing. Not abnormal to hear him running a compressor at 10AM. Car love is welcomed round here! :)
