E-Locker ???

So, I have been researching this for a while due to wanting a locker. Well I finally found one and I am having trouble with 2 questions.
First off, I have a 2001 4runner with ABS and the donor 4runner is a 99. my 2 questions are..can I just wire the locker to a toggle switch or do I have to have a elocker ecu? second is with the elocker fit directly with no mods since its off a 4runner?

You'll have more success in the 3rd gen part of the forum...but:

Good luck! It'll take about an hour to wire the new computer in, and about 4 hours to drop the old axle and swap the new one in.

Then an infinite amount of time thereafter to bleed the brakes to get them to not be spongy.

Do you know if the '99 and your '01 have the same axle ratio? If not, that might complicate things

the 99 has 4:30s I planned on getting both diffs from him
