E-mail Notifications

email/PM notification not working..

Hello all,
I was wondering... My Notifications stopped working.. I have looked at my settings and once again i am sure they are correct. I dont not use any kind of spam blockers.I dont use my ISP'S spam blockers.. I have checked my email address - it's in there properly.. I will re check everything again just to make sure.Just to Clarify when i log into the site i will get a P/U telling me i have a PM. I dont get an email. I had this problem long ago, it waas fixed but now i see it's back again.
Can i ask the Mods to take a peek into this problem again...

Still not getting emails.

Whats happening mods and admins?

Your silence and inaction is annoying people off and making advertisers think twice about this site.

I'm not either admin or mod, but multi-posts like this may end in suspension or ban.
 
I would like to know what's happening with this. The other (main) thread on this isn't getting any updates as to when the notifications might be back up and running. I guess the squeaky wheel gets the grease.
 
I assume this would be why I couldn't activate my account then? If the board isn't sending emails new accounts can't actually be activated since the board seems to require authentication check via "real email" address.

Yeah, I hear you, I don't want to get banned, I'm just trying something else to bring attention to this since the previous 4 months of attempts have gotten nothing at all.

I like it here and I don't want the membership to think badly of this site just because it doesn't function like every other forum on the interweb.
 
Is it something you need from the mod or admin?

When i first registered here, it took a while. like the forum acceptance was on lock down...i believe the admin were on vacation or something.

You know I don't know. I managed to find a member on here who had a website with their email address on it. I contacted them who then contacted a mod who contacted an Admin and activated my account. :shrug::lmao:

If I wouldn't have found that email address I dunno if I would be able to post yet haha
 
well finally someone else is seeing what i have been talking about all this time.it would sure be nice for some in Authority to take a look at the problems i have been talking about all this time.

Yes, dont multi post- you might get someones attention.

I merged 3 threads into one thread. I noticed right after GatorGreg gave up his administrator job, we stopped getting e-mail notifications. I have worked with other administrators in getting this fixed. So far, it is still up in the air and it HAS been a long time.

Not sure how this can be fixed, but I am personally trying to get this done.

Thanks for at least acknowledging the problem and caring enough to respond. Notice, that after your response there were no posts in this thread for 8 days.
