Apologies if these questions are answered elsewhere, but I have done some considerable reading and I need some clairification.
I have a 2008 4runner sport - non-jbl with 6 disc changer. I installed sirius with the TOY SC-1 unit after I purchased the vehicle.
Based on my research it appears the Denso E7019 would be the closest to OEM plug n' play I can get given that I do not have a JBL amp. The following are my questions:
1. Will my Sirius adapter work with the E7019? Seems like it should since it works with the current unit I have.
2. I've read about the VSS/Reverse wire issue. How hard is it to connect the wires? I have installed a few radios before but am still an amateur.
3. Do I need a bezel or am I ok since I have the 6 disc changer currently.
4. Do I need a gps antenna? If so how do I mount one?
5. I don't think the E7019 has bluetooth so I shouldn't need to add the steering wheel buttons right?
Thanks in advance for any assistance.
