East Coast 4Runner Jamboree 06

Another one of my clubs is hosting the 2006 EC4RJ. The event is open to all Toyotas (not just 4Runners).

This is a wheeling event, and this year it will be held at Paragon Adventure Park, in Hazleton, PA.

Last years EC4RJ was much smaller than previous years.
It was held at Rausch Creek and was covered by Four Wheeler magazine.
The article is in the July issue which just hit the news stands.
Be sure to get a copy and check it out.

This year we are planning a much bigger event and have lined up several sponsors which are donating prizes.

More details will be coming soon, but here is some basic info:

*Cost will be $35 for one day, $60 for two days, and $80 for all three. (This is the park entrance fee only. There is no fee to attend the event).

*There will be a raffle of some sort (details are still being sorted out). There will be some pretty good prizes donated by national vendors and local shops.

*Camping will be about 10 minutes from the park at Red Ridge Lake Campground. Their usual rates will apply.

I use to live in that area but 10 hr drive sucks.

I went to the '04 EC4RJ at Paragon and it was a seriously good time. If anyone from the area can make it I highly recommend making the trip.

Unfortunately, I don't think I'll be attending this time around because of some other obligations.

Well the Jambo was great :bigok:

About 30 trucks showed up, from bone stock FJ Cruisers to seriously built rigs, running beginer trails to comp trails.

A writer for FOUR WHEELER magazine showed up again this year to cover the event !

There were some great raffle prizes: Trail-Gear donated a complete cross-over steering kit, some wheel spacers, and other stuff; Inch Worm and BudBuilt supplied several gift certificates each; and other stuff I can't remember. :beer:

Well, for everyone that missed this event, you can read about it in the Feb. 07 issue of Off-Road magazine, which will hit newstands Dec. 17 +/- a few days.

Excellent coverage of an east coast 4 wheeling event.

The east coast is far under reported and Jay is pushing the Toyota and east cost wheeling scene.

And BTW, the EC4RC07 is in the planing stages.
Tenative date is June 07.

Very kewl pics. I couldn't take my truck through the trails in the condition it is in, but I'd love to spectate.
