Ebay 4Runner - Loyal but Sad Story

This is not mine, just came across it while browsing...

Amazing it almost got to 339,000 miles - sad the owner ditched it on the side of the road. just thought I'd share, its like leaving an old dog on the side of the road.

The title situation and the fact that I could barely read through all the broken english in the description would be the only red flags if I were buying it.

i'd try and get it cheap man it's not a bad deal at all even just for parts.....
just hack it up and sell it off at the very least.

exactly sell the block as a core and the rims and you've made your $500 back,
i do this all the time with my vw's buy one for 300-400 hack it up and sell it off, i usually make around a grand or more profit each one, just depends if you got the time todo that and personally i don't think that runner is bad enough to start hacking on, i'd get a used motor and drop in it and sell it for 4-5 K after a little detail work.:whip2:

Interesting. . . I saw it off the side of the road on the way to Houston this past weekend and thought "I should look that up on the local craigslist." I looked and there was no craigslist for Colmbus,TX. Never would have thought I would see it here.

I would just pick it up just to make it my Trail beater. Strip out the interior and go to town on it with a nice lft kit and big mudders and have a ball with it.
