Have used any of the exhaust piping on eBay for your turbo?

Let me enlighten you
Not much to look at, but was everything i'd hoped for as far as performace. I've had it installed for 20k+ daily driven miles and was fantastically surprised at its fitment for being so inexpensive.
I planned to do a write up for the pipes, and entire truck, at some point. Not satisfied quite yet so i'll still hold off![]()
Anytime you could put up more photos of that knarliness would be wicked awesome. Turbo 5vzfe, no codes, he'll yeah.

2019-01-21_09-22-32 by Sean Miller, on FlickrHey guys, I know this is an old thread but I found good info in here for my recent quest to turbo my 5VZ 4Runner. I wanted to relay my findings so that it may help others in the future.
First off, I went from NA, to SC, to turbo. NA to SC'd was a good bump (2.2 pulley and 7th, only made 5psi at 500ft though...) but for the money spent I wasn't totally satisfied. I would constantly ping low rpm and in high gear, very annoying. So I sold off the SC and started purchasing turbo pieces. I bought the CX manifolds and a CX T3 .63AR turbo. The install was a bit of a pain. The exhaust studs were too long and would not let the manifolds mate flush with the heads so I had to source shorter studs. Also the crosspipe was not made correctly and had to be modified to work. None the less I got everything together and running. I already had a boost gauge and AEM wideband so I started test driving to see how she ran. Right off the bat I seen that it would go full lean at only 2PSI. WG spring is 4PSI. For the life of me I could not figure out why it would go lean so quickly because like stated by others "Clownmeat made 7PSI with colder plugs and premium fuel." Well, that definitely was not my case.
So, just because it worked with somebody else does not mean it will work for everybody. I ended up utilizing the AEM FIC6 to tune my boost.
Glad to hear you finally reached the end of the road and get to enjoy it now! Any plans to get it on a dyno soon? I hope to get mine back on a dyno as well.
