Ebay Arguement!!

I have to post this...it hilarious!! I had an item for sale on Ebay that ended this past Wednesday. I heard nothing from the winning bidder..so I sent him an invoice before I went to bed along with a message reminding him of my terms in the listing that payment is required within 3 days from the end of the auction. So I waited, no response. I sent him another message Saturday stating payment was due...no response. so Sunday I offered a second chance offer to the next highest bidder who gladly accepted and paid me immediately. So then Monday I told this guy I was going to file an Unpaid item dispute since he never paid and of course now he answers. Please see the following messages below. It gets to be pretty hilarious. This guy is either re****ed (no offense Johnsd90) or inbreed (no offense to you southern guys) I will update once he sends yet another reply.

Dear choekstra,

Hello,
I have not received your payment. Please submit payment immediately, otherwise I will be forced to report you to ebay. Thank You

Dear lxwho22,

why would you report people, dont you know that people arent always on the web. why didnt you want until you heard a word from me. I didnt force you to report me to ebay. i was away on vaction. you should have waiting not doing a report at 8:00 in the moring, dont you think people are working at that time of morning.

Dear choekstra,

Maybe you should read the terms and conditions on my Ebay item before you try to turn this around on me. It is clearly stated!!

Dear lxwho22,

dude just reread your page when i did put my bid
in, i dont see where your looking but i dont see
it clearly stated any where now got off your high
horse maybe you need to read your pages before you
put anything on ebay again And im not turning this
around on you, your the dumb one that canceled the transition not me, i was gone that weekend was
going to pay for it on monday but not when i get
an email at 8:00 in the morning saying that ive
reported you to ebay

Dear choekstra,

I suggest you take Ebay 101. Under shipping and payments it states "Payment is required within 3 days from the end of the auction". I cancelled the transaction after you failed to pay and the next highest bidder decided he wanted it and paid me immediately. Further more, the auction ended on Wednesday which still gave you two days to pay before your "vacation". Plus I sent you two emails prior to the last one sent at 8am which you choose to ignore. Next time, if you can't afford to pay for an item...don't bid!

Dear lxwho22,

First off you have to put terms and conditions on your listing and on the brush guard i bid on dosent have any thing regarding how long you have to pay or even any thing about payment. if i were you i would take a look at what you post if you are one who likes fast payment you should put that on your post, and as i can see you havent learned anything from this because your have nothing on your new post of this brush guard that you relisted. the only thing that has any thing to do with three days is the return policy. now get off your high horse and take ebay 101 quit being a ****!!!

Dear choekstra,

Listen you moron, right next to the "Description" heading is a "Shipping and paymnets" heading which if you click on it, it tells how the shipping is set up and when payment is due. Once again, it is not my fault that you are to dumb to figure that out. Like I said before, the next highest bidder purchased the brush guard. The brush guard I have now is not the same one, but I dont expect you of all people to realize that!

Dear lxwho22,

before you keep cocking off you should go look at
your post is says nothing about it even if you
click on shipping and payments nowhere does it say
anything i dont know why your such an ass hole but
i defiantly know you are

Dear choekstra,

It is at the very bottom of the page "sellers payment instructions"...at this point, even my dog knows how to find it.

Ebay did away with sellers being able to leave bad feedback

Yeah that was another knee jerk policy Ebay made in an attempt to have Ebay be more "buyer friendly". Ebay is still good for some things but I use my Amazon Prime membership way more than Ebay now. Not as many ret*rds and con men on Amazon either.

That conversation is hilarious! People seem so shocked that they get reported. I had one id10t tell me she could not pay because someone had hacked her bank account and left her with no money. I sad "sorry to hear that" and reported her as a non paying bidder. Apparently she failed to realize that I could see her feedback and noticed she had received multiple positive feedbacks for purchases made after she told me she had no money. I really wish I could have left her negative feedback. Iirc you can't leave any feedback at all once you report a non paying bidder.

Wow eBay has gone down the tubes. I haven't used eBay in years, no more seller feedback... lame.

I think you should offer the buyer first grade grammar books. :D

so he "defiantly" knows you're an ass hole? wouldn't that be definitely. if someone is going to insult another person, at least spell words right.

I don't like the way ebay changed the listing format. What is now the Shipping and Payments tab used to be shown at the bottom of the page on every auction, so it was always visible and did not require a conscious decision to check it for something that maybe important. While choekstra is clearly not the sharpest tool in the shed, I can easily see how people like that get themselves into something unfortunate.

I see you have 7 bids on your other brush guard so far. Is he one of the bidders?

Regardless of him not seeing the shipping and payment tab, he never made any payment and I didn't hear from him until 5 days later when I told him I was reporting him. I always pay for my items immediately. It is just like shopping at a store. If you want something, you have to pay for it.
No, he is not able to bid on any of my items...he is on my blocked bidders list!

Yeah, I don't always watch the clock wind down when I'm bidding on something, but I make sure I check my email or the auction with the next day.

I once had a screw up with paypal and had no money to pay for something within the time required, but I sent the seller an email explaining and asked for more time if possible. They understood and gave me extra time and everything worked out, but if I didn't contact them, they (like you), have every right to cancel the transaction and resell it.

Btw, the johnsd90 comment in the 1st post cracked me up :D.... (no offense John)

I have had this happen before too, people just dont read the payment instructions. So now I clearly write them in the body of the auction. It seems to help problems like this one.

:withstupid:

When i shop @ ebay, i do the last 10-second shopping. HAHA... Most of the time, i win and pay right away.

Great post, wonder if choekstra has anything to sell? I'm sure he'l need a new axe after this one is ground down.

oooooohhhh, if he does i think we all should bid high on everything he sells and NOT pay. Like what is he gonna do? Ban us from bidding? :D

He would have to be able to figure out how to list an item first....which I do not see happening.:redbrick:
