Ebay - Curious on replaced 4runner parts

I was thinking of buying the Revos and sell my Grandtek on Ebay. I went to Ebay to check out Grandtek prices and get an estimate how much they are going for. Found only 1 private party posting for 265/65/17 - listed for $225. I also plan to buy a Scion HU, so I checked out listings for Toyota CD 4runner and only 1 private party posting $9.99 ends in 3 days.

OK - for those who replaced their HU or tires. Do you still have them on your garages????? I figure there will be more listed on Ebay when I did the search.

BTW, this is a great forum!!!!! Bought my 4runner back in Sept. and found this forum by accident while looking for 4 runner OEM accessories a month ago. This forum has given me plenty of mod ideas and have thinned my wallet. So far (in addition to OEM accessories), I installed a Westin Safari bar, Go Rhino Hitch Mount Step, Piaa Euro Horn, Winchlock, Piaa Driving/Fog Lamps.

Now thinking of replacing HU with Scion plus adding a Bazooka Sub, changing Grandteks to Revos. And maybe adding a set of Hella 500s. Just waiting for a few paychecks.

Almost the first thing I did after taking delivery of the T4R was drive past my local tire shop (been giving them my business for years, they know me.) I asked about trading up the Dunflops for Michelins. I wasn't expecting the response I got. The guy actually burst out laughing. He would gladly sell me a new set of Mich CT's but he wanted nothing to do with trying to resell the Dunflops. I'm just going to run them out because they are worthless otherwise.

When I went from the single disk jbl to 6disc jbl I sold the single on ebay

also sold a sienna jbl unit on ebay

I think why you did not find much listing for tires are they are a pain to ship by a private party and not cheap to ship..

I know I would just wear mine out and buy new tires or sell local pick up only.

Did you try searching just "Scion HU" or "Scion cd player" when I got mine for my MR2 there must have been 15 on E-bay but that was 1 ago.

on eBay....it is in how you search.

I found 17" Tundra rims with two week old Nitto Terra Grapplers. The killer is the shipping....so I tried to be patient and found someone just a couple of hours away.

I thought the seller was asking too much, so I gave him a offer via email. He got a bid for what he was asking for, but the deal fell through because his ad said local pickup only and the bidder did not see that. The seller emailed me and took my lesser offer.

I still have my stock rims and stock Bridgestones in the garage. I will probably try and sell them locally on craigslist first.
