Eclipse AVN-50D installation questions.

I just purchased Eclipse AVN-50D from this site to be installed in 2005 (non-jbl) 4Runner.
My understating (from everything I have researched) this is plug in play unit for my truck with exception of brackets to cover small gaps on the sides. Can anyone confirm this and let me know what brackets I need to get for this?
Also, this unit will come with 2006 MAP CD and I believe there is a 2009 map CD exist for it. Can somebody recommend the source to obtain one or maybe someone can get me a copy, if he has one available (I understand that could be wishful thinking:wow2:).

I just went to an audio store and asked for a double din install kit for 03-09 4runner, they brought one out, and it looked good, screws into side w/ existing screws on bracket.

there is a 2009 disc, how or where to obtain one? I'd try Ebay, I'm sure they could be burned, not sure how.

it's a good Nav unit, just wish it had RCA outs.

Thank you.
After I got the unit, I realized that it already had latest (2009) disk.
But I have two more questions:
1) As per AVN manual, it is advisable to connect speed sensor wire… do you guys do that? And if yes, can anyone point me to the location of that wire in the truck?
2) Anyone has wiring diagram for steering wheel control? This AVN has a connector on the back with 3 wires as well as the is a steering wheel control connector on the truck with 3 wires, but since they are deferent connectors I will have to wire it and that is why I am looking have wiring diagram.

If you connect the speed sensor, it won't let you watch DVD's while moving at all. Most people don't to do that anyways and don't worry about it.

Any double-din should work. You'll just need the wiring adapter and the side filler plates like you said. It's a fairly simple install with just a 10mm wrench. All else is just clipped in place.

Look into getting an Urban Runner trim piece for this. It makes aftermarket HU's look like they are molded into the dash instead of an unfinished project.
