Eclipse AVN2210 TomTom replacement

I have a 2008 UrbanRunner, which has the Eclipse AVN2210 w/TomTom GPS

I am not liking this unit, I would like to replace it!

Couple questions:

1. What did you replace your Eclipse AVN2210 with?

2. How hard was it to replace the unit?

3. How much was the new unit?

4. Any tips would help please!

I replaced mine w/ AVN6610, I liked the 2210p, thought the sound was incredible, but tom tom didn't support it anymore, I'm pretty sure you will need new connector for ECLIPSE or other head units as the 2210p has different plugs.

It is a POS isn't it?!? the sound quality was terible. (sorry 08medic... it really sucked)

Use the connetors from the TT to the harness, as the UR has a different harness than any other T4R. Pre-splice the new HU wires into the TT connectors so when you install into vehicle it is plug and play.

Keep the trim piece and re-use with new HU. Best looking trim piece out there.

Get a steering wheel control adapter, so you can keep them working. If you need teh wireiing diagram I can e-mail it to you. This site has a 137kb limit and the PDF is 800+.
