refurbished. They may be returns to the factory and then repaired. Could be lemons.
 
Price seems reasonable, but the site seems a little cheesy. I would not purchase from them just because of that. Not for an item of that price. No way to know the reputation/service from the company. EBay has them going for $1200-$1500.

The pioneer z1 is listed below dealer cost. I would not buy from that site. I can check on kenwood dealer cost tomorrow, but I'm pretty sure that stuff is listed below cost as well. Sounds a bit fishy to me.
 
yes that site does look pretty shady. that's why i ask before buying. yeah ebay does goes for like $1300+. seems like this seller is list it on froogle.google.com. if eclipse coming out with a new avn anytime soon? i don't want to buy when a new model will come out just around the corner.
 
has anyone noticed that in their "pallets" section, the pallets are loaded with equipment from best buy? (You can see their "let us install it stickers on the sides")

Now...i just left working at a BB appx a month ago, (for circuit city btw).

What is concerning is that it is all opened material, so its not as if they would warehouse a best buy that would have possibly closed or anything..

I wouldnt trust them...if you wanna risk 1500...i would call them and play jimmy the dunce and ask them questions, if you get a bad feeling, go with your gut.

Its way too good to be true..
 
i'm not sure if i can trust ebay either most of them are probably open box or refurbished and claim to be brand new. by any chance do you know when eclipse will release a new or update avn? there were a promotion going on with authorized dealers that free back-up camera were offer when buying an AVN. not sure if its still avalible.

I know with our store, we do honor this..

The avn7000 single din flip up has a big old sign right next to it in our store..

What city are you in? id be more than happy to call that store's roadshop for you, and double check..and i can see what they have in stock too..
