TSB REVISION NOTICE :
^ January 6, 2005: The model years of Applicable Vehicles and Production Change Effective VINs have been updated.
The previous TSB should be discarded.
Introduction
Some 2003 model year 4Runner and Tundra, and 2004 model year Sienna vehicles may experience a M.I.L. "ON" condition with DTC P0441, P0442 and/or P0446 due to a sticking EVAP Purge Vacuum Switching Valve (VSV). The EVAP Purge VSV has been improved to correct the M.I.L. "ON" condition.

^ 2003 model year 4Runner and Tundra vehicles produced BEFORE the Production Change Effective VINs shown below.
^ 2004 model year Sienna vehicles produced BEFORE the Production Change Effective VINs shown below.

Applicable Warranty*:
This repair is covered under the Toyota Federal Emissions Warranty. This warranty is in effect for 36 months or 36,000 miles, whichever occurs first, from the vehicle's in-service date.
* Warranty application is limited to correction of a problem based upon a customer's specific complaint.
